EMS Liaison – Orlando Health FMCOH Wiregrass Ranch Hospital

Orlando Health’s newest hospital in Wesley Chapel, FMCOH Wiregrass Ranch Hospital, is looking for an EMS Liaison to join our team ahead of our grand opening. This is a unique opportunity to build relationships, connect communities, and help shape our hospital’s presence before we open our doors.
About the Role
The EMS Liaison is responsible for growing key service line areas, building and maintaining strong relationships with EMS partners, and representing Orlando Health at community events. This role is ideal for a paramedic with a passion for service, a talent for relationship building, and an interest in connecting pre-hospital and hospital care.
What You Will Do
Serve as an EMS advocate, developing relationships and generating referrals with community partners.
Build connections by visiting local fire stations, being present in the Emergency Department, and following up with EMS on patient outcomes.
Represent Orlando Health at community engagement events and support volunteer initiatives.
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate community outreach and education programs.
Identify new opportunities for partnerships and growth.
Collaborate with ED leadership on service improvement initiatives.
Perform data collection, entry, and reporting to track progress and outcomes.
Maintain a professional presence and uphold Orlando Health’s commitment to excellence.
Schedule and Travel
Monday through Friday with flexibility (generally 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Occasional weekend events
Travel to local fire stations and community sites
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program
Current Florida Paramedic (PMD) certification
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS within one year of hire)
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Minimum 2 years of field or directly related work experience
Strong presentation, listening, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Preferred
Paramedic with existing EMS relationships
Experience in community outreach or volunteer coordination
