The Pediatric Neuropsychologist must be a licensed psychologist with expertise in the development of brain structures and systems. Our pediatric neuropsychologists conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret test results and make recommendations based on those results.

About the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center of Excellence
The Department of Neuropsychology, in the Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center for Excellence at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, provides comprehensive psychological care to pediatric patients throughout the state of Florida as well as out-of-state and international patients. The Department includes pediatric psychologists, pediatric neuropsychologists, and clinical child psychologists who provide psychological testing, neuropsychological testing, and a variety of therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, parenting, and behavioral therapy. In addition, many of the staff have specialized training, and offer interventions including ADOS testing, biofeedback, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and behavioral feeding. The patients seen in the Department include referrals from Medical Specialists and community pediatricians, and have medical conditions including oncology diagnoses, seizures, chromosome disorders, psychiatric conditions, pain, and autism spectrum disorder.
The Department of Neuropsychology is actively expanding its staff as Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is rapidly growing to provide additional specialty care and services for more pediatric patients. We are currently looking for a pediatric neuropsychologist. In addition to meeting the needs of our current patients, there will be multiple opportunities to specialize as the children’s hospital is adding and expanding our programs, including Bone Marrow Transplant, Fetal Neurosurgery, Epilepsy Surgery, and Chronic Pain. Our Department is also looking to add additional services, including Inpatient Consultation/Liaison, Inpatient Pediatric Rehab, Cognitive Rehabilitation, and Integrated Primary Care while expanding Psychology’s presence in multiple Multidisciplinary Clinics.
