Job Title: Clinical Practice Supervisor

Department: Dermatology 

Location: 3820 Northdale Blvd Tampa (Carrollwood Area)

 

Position Summary
Full time position in our Dermatology Office. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical staff.   Dermatology experience preferred, Clinical experience preferred, Prior leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Supervises assigned clinical team members within the medical office. 
  • Participates in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned team members.
  • Schedules staffing to meet changing workload needs.
  • Identifies training needs for team members and facilitates development opportunities, this includes the evaluation of training, implementation, orientation, and participation of education programs. 
  • Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulation and procedures. Recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures to the department.
  • Able to analyze medical records and documentation and identify problem areas.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with physicians and administrative staff.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions

  • Knowledge of clinical and theoretical nursing/clinical processes and principles.
  • Knowledge of medical practice protocols and standards.
  • Skilled in documentation of patient care including reviewing for accuracy and completeness.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Two (2) years of related experience preferred
